Pectin, CAS# 9000-69-5, is a structural heteropolysaccharide manufactured through extraction from citrus fruits, available as Free flowing pale brown powder; Slight, free from off-flavors; Slight, free from off-note. Pectin is widely used as emulsifiers. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E440.
