Tara gum, CAS# 39300-88-4, is a natural additive manufactured through separating and grinding the endosperm of C. spinosaseeds, available as white to white-yellow odorless powder. Tara Gum is widely used as food thickening agent. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E417.
