Sodium Cyclamate, CAS# 139-05-9, is a sodium salt of cyclamic acid manufactured through chemical synthesis, available as WHITE POWDER. Sodium Cyclamate is widely used as sweetener as it is 30–50 times sweeter than sugar.. Cyclamate is approved as a sweetener in over 55 countries, though it is banned in the United States. with E number E952.
There is concern that ingustion of Sodium Cyclamate in high dosage can cause various tumors and cancers. However, no significant proof can be indentified.
