Gum Arabic (or acacia gum), CAS# 9000-01-5, is a complex mixture of glycoproteins and polysaccharides initially isolated from two species of the acacia tree, available as Off-white to Yellowish Granular or Powder. Gum Arabic is mainly used as stabilizer in food industry. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries with E number E414.
